Pronounced in Taiwanese, Shakespeare Unplugged ¢» --Macbeth concerns its adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth at desire, treason, bewilderment and destruction. The play centers its development on the triangle relationship among Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, and the Three Witches. Through the eye of the Three Witches, the play straddles between reality and illusion. The playwright makes use of sliding door and light changes to reflect how order and chaos interweave with each other. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth’s rise and fall displays a multi-layered psychological/mental transformation in the process to destruction.
