Hsu, Rey-fang

Born in 1961, Hsu got her MFA degree in Playwriting at Nation Arts College (Now National Taiwan University of Arts) in June, 1996. She is currently the lecturer at Department of Drama Creating and Application, National University of Tainan and teaches course, ¡§Special Topic for Education Theatre¡¨, at the Graduate Program of Theatre. She used to teach at the School of Continue Education, Wenzao Ursuline College of Language. She was also a part-time lecturer at Department of Taiwanese Literature, National Cheng Kung University. She is currently a member of the nomination committee of Taishin Arts Award. She had worked as the artistic director at Tainan Jen Theatre and program planner at Hwadeng Art Center for many years. The plays she has published are as follows: In the Waves: Educational Theatre Tie (coauthor withTsai Chi-zhan), When Phoenix Flower Blossoms, Non-citizen, Show me the Fish, The Travel of Windy Bird. The plays she directed or wrote: Man in the Closet: Musical Sculpture and Performance in the Twenty First Century, Seemingly Departure, The Teenager who Chases the Wind, The Spirits of Our Ancestors, When the House was Built, When Phoenix Flowers Blossom, Take Me to See the Fish, Listen to a Song, The Travel of the Windy Bird, Illio Formosa, I Love You So, The Exploration of Little Smart, A Morning of Holiday, The Day of Lady Sacrifice
