abstractSynopsis:
The play, set in a scene of majian playing, featured Four frustrated middle-aged men who are old school mates. While playing majian, they, hiding in the confined space created by the game, cursed the society, exposed the ugliest part of their heart, and bombarded each other with dialogues intertwined together.This play purposely presents a phenomenon of bankruptcy of psyche. It uses black comedy as basic tone to discuss how the middle-aged people born in the 50's, now on longer college students with ideals and hopes but an aging generation which is helpless and hopeless about their lives.
