abstractSynopsis:
Inspired by Lu Chiao’s novel, Ren Zi, the play concerns itself at the unique state of life. The story describes a little boy’s exploration in a journey in his dream. Paper is the major material for creation to symbolize the motif of this play. A wooden platform slightly higher than the floor is the base for performance. The full-moon shines through the vertical rectangular board positioned in the rare stage. Three puppeteers use paper to make mountains, rivers and people in different shapes. Ample lights, colorful pictures and melodic expressions resemble the innocent and bright childhood.
