abstractSynopsis:
Through the daily life of a housewife in a small kitchen, juxtaposed with the story of the Tale of White Snake, The Kitchen, a play jumping between realism and surrealism, between the ancient times and modern times, pointed out the complexity of a modern woman's life. With multiple layers of performances, including actors, puppets, and visual effects, The Kitchen fully displayed the performing style of puppet theatre and fulfilled its goal of setting an illusionary world, while at the same time reinforcing the realistic prospect of humanity.
