abstractSynopsis:
This play, centering the topic about love, explores distorted romantic relationships in Taiwan to represent the absurdity of love. With the topic, "Love and Proof", the play presents a wide range of people who try hard to prove their love. Some buy flowers and diamonds, and some take eccentric ways, such as self-hurting, dumping the family, or spying. People are obsessed with proofs of love, either to others or from others. The question is: can these really prove the authenticity of love? To put it another way, do these actions prove the suffering or happiness of love? Love, how do we prove it?
