abstractSynopsis:
This play is adapted from the work of Singaporean playwright/director Baokun Guo. Fu, himself a oversears Chinese raised in Malaysian, creates a virtual world under the sea, using the concept of "drowning" as the extension to the idea of "castration¨ in the original work. With poetic language and dialogue, this play displays the adsurd living condition of modern people who are willing to let their vitality be "castrated" only to survive in everyday banality.
