abstractSynopsis:
This play is based on Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Monologue of Isabel Watching It Rain in Macondo and The Autumn of the Patriarch, Latin-American report literature, Love and War, Chinese fiction on the traumas of Cultural Revolution, Against House Repair, and actor Chen Zhe-peng's poem, The Faces of Star. Produced by Rive-Gauche Theatre Group, it is one of the plays presented in Moon-Picking Theatre Festival planned by Wang, Mo-lin. It was presented in a deserted house located near the seaside of Danshuei. During the performance, rain and wind came in the house, making the ground muddy. Parts of the performance took place outside, with rain and sea in natural environment as background.
