abstractSynopsis:
The playwright, Chi, Wei-jan, issues his reflex on self identity by structuring the play as a mystery film: a case on serious killing. Set in 2005, Taipei, the crime takes place in a bar where six Caucasians were mysteriously murdered. He appropriates six 007 movies to stage the interrogation process. His well-known writing style exhibits a dark, playful, tit-for-tat interaction among the six characters (three suspects and three criminal polices). Big props separate the stage into two parts: interrogation room and daily-life space. Case elaboration intersperse is projected on screen from time to time. Queries on identity are displayed through six characters' interaction and monologues.
